Michael Keaton is an American actor producer and director best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. Michael Keaton is an actor who has diverse talents. His professional career has seen him has played a number of roles in romantic scenes and played in action films. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when the age of his teens and tried his hand at stand-up comedy as an adult. The show was not an enviable comedy career, but it opened the door for a career in acting. In order to be successful in the field of comedy, he got a job as a cameraman at a local cable television station. Through the work he started to realize that he really wanted to be in front of the camera. Then he was able to get a TV role, and he appeared in numerous shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor and soon became popular in the world of television. His comedic characters made him famous and he commenced a career as a filmmaker with high ambitions. He gained even more fame in the role of Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. The actor grew in his craft in the years to come and then ventured into the production and direction areas. As a result of his performance in Birdman (2014) the actor won numerous awards and nominations.
